In a world deeply influenced by technology, I Am Q presents a compelling exploration of the human condition. Covering contemporary topics like artificial intelligence, social networks and corporate responsibility, this story encourages readers to question the impact of technological progress on our lives, relationships, and society.
Through pop-culture references and sharp-witted humor, this satirical narrative captures the essence of the Bridge Generation - individuals who straddle the divide between pre and post-internet eras, bringing them together to discuss and reflect upon the evolution of technology.
Narrated through the lens of a white-collar worker grappling with the consequences of technological advancement, I Am Q explores how the rapid rise of progress has influenced our human connection.

Seeking Human Connections
These were the words inscribed on a business card mysteriously left at a dimly lit bar in Manhattan.
Overall, there was nothing extraordinary about the life of Sam Noble. As a freelance content writer for commercial products and a mediocre standup comedian, Sam, 39, succumbed to a life of complacency. That is, until he met Q.
A complex woman in her 20s suffering from acute bone-marrow disease, Q lived closely under the protective wings of her parents. Q’s father, a renowned behavioral scientist, demanded that her education stem from his own “experiential learning” philosophy – an academic framework whereby Q gains life lessons from a diverse set of people throughout the world.
After a series of fateful events immerses Q into Sam’s life, he receives a lucrative proposal from Q’s parents to teach Q about the human connection.
During these intimate lessons with Q, ancient ruins of Sam’s own past become unearthed, unraveling a dialogue that reflects on the influence of technology in our lives. Starting somewhere before the modem and ending around selfie-sticks, Sam’s lessons shed light on the subtle advancements of technology, demanding his astute pupil to question progress.
But never did he imagine how far these lessons would take them — from discovering unknown truths about his own identity, to confronting greater forces of progress in acts of martyrdom.
